Private Limited Liability Company VOLTAS (until the privatization – Klaipėda State 7 Electric Power Mounting Company) was registered in Klaipėda Town Board on 19 October 1992. However, the company has been working as an electric power mounting company since 1957. Its address is Dubysos 58, LT-94107 Klaipėda.
The company’s major activities – performance of electric power works in constructed and reconstructed facilities (mounting of transformer substations, electric power and electric lighting network, outside electric power network, external lighting and etc.). The company is also able to perform the works related to electric power designing, start-up and adjustment, automation and weak current works. The company has been involved in the trade of electric materials as well as electric equipment.
The company has been granted Certificate No.0326 by the Ministry of Construction and Urbanistics and Permit No.E-0794 issued by State Energy Inspectorate under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania. The Quality Management System ISO 9001 has been implemented at the company when Certificate No.782 was granted on 3 February 1999.
During the company’s operation period we have performed a lot of works in the facilities of Lithuania, Latvia and Russia (Kaliningrad region).
About 100 people are being employed at the company.
It has its own production workshops: electric power purveyance bay, spacious storage premises, motor vehicles for transportation of materials and equipment, special mechanization devices for laying an electric cables and performance of other electric mounting works.
